Marketing / Advertising Campaigns
All Valley Junction businesses receive consistent internal and external promotion of their activities and special events. Electronic and printed communications are sent to all area merchants, foundation members, community members and investors. Foundation members and non-members are eligible to participate in co-op advertising, trash collection and training programs. Valley Junction businesses are encouraged to volunteer for one of our core (business improvement, design, organization, promotion) or special event committees.
City of West Des Moines Technical Assistance Program
Administered by the City of West Des Moines, a reimbursable grant program for professional services by a licensed architect, engineer, planner or surveyor. $500 maximum grant
Main Street Iowa Technical Assistance / Design Services
As a certified Main Street Community, Valley Junction businesses are eligible for technical assistance and design services, stand alone, or in conjunction with above incentive programs.
Wi-Fi Internet Services
Valley Junction was of the first wireless districts in the state of Iowa! If a computer is Wi-fi enabled, this service is offered free of charge to businesses, visitors and residents located in the business district.
